More about this activity...
What will you do?
You will visit the Poq Poq waterfall. We will leave from the Chinchero police station, cross the historic center and majestic Inca terraces, and find the platforms of the Q’apaq Ñan, a complex pre-Inca and Inca road system that linked the entire empire. On the way down to the Poq Poq valley, we will have a photographic view. We will also show you the different native plants of the area, their names in Quechua and their ancestral curative uses. Then we will arrive at the impressive Poq Poq waterfalls. We will invite you to a delicious picnic lunch made with the seasonal local products and local muña tea. Our experience will end in the rural community of Urquillos.
