Description

More about this activity...

What will you do?

We will visit the Urubamba market, where my mother has worked almost all her life. That is why I will tell you the history of the market in first person. I will show you each stall, we will enjoy delicious products and I will explain you where each one comes from. This experience is also perfect to do with children, as they will learn new things about foods they may not have tried before. From fruits, vegetables, potatoes, chocolates, cheeses, corn and local organic vegetables.

Learn about host Diego and Ana Lucía

Hi! We are Diego and Ana Lucia, a chef and a food engineer, lovers of Peruvian gastronomy. We met working in a restaurant and fell in love between stoves and customer orders. When our children were born, we decided to open our own kitchen to spend more time with them. The result was Pakakuna, one of the most renowned restaurants in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
