More about this activity...

What will you do?

We will explore the traditional instruments of Maras. We will play chords for fun, regardless of whether or not we hit the right note. Then, in our kitchen we will teach you how to prepare a quinoa soup in a clay pot. Together, we will cook with our hearts, then sit at the table and taste the delicious flavors of our local gastronomy. Finally, we will share the poetry of my grandfather, Andres Alencastre, and the great stories of Maras. All, accompanied by a coffee or an infusion, while we teach you some words in Quechua.
