More about this activity...

What will you do?

We meet at my house to go to the forest where I explain the origin and benefits of the cacao plant, which leads us to connect with the origin of life.
After we activate and drink it, we will meditate and go for a contemplative forest walk. We will learn how plants can be used for cleansing and harmonizing, and put together our own bouquets of aromatic herbs and flowers for smudging. We learn how to cleanse the energy with its fumes. We finish with a soothing bloom bath.

Learn about host Polita

I am Chilean but I fell in love with Mancora in 2009 and moved here.. Since I was a little girl, I felt connections with nature, especially plants. When I was a scout, I loved making potions with plants. As an adult on a path of self-discovery, I learned to make smudge bundles and found the smoke helpful for meditation. I have studied phytotherapy and herbalism, and been trained in the art of smudging by a matriarch of Mapuche culture. And I’ve entered the world of cocoa, studying its properties. All of this has served me well and made me eager to share it with visitors.
