Description

More about this activity...

What will you do?

We will meet bright and early at 6:35am at the Órganos dock. Our guides will welcome and assist you in embarkation following biosecurity protocols. Once at sea, you will learn about marine fauna that, conditions permitting, you may see, including dolphins swimming and jumping meters away, as well as curious sea lions and turtles, blue-footed boobies and frigate birds.

We will go in search of the huge humpback whales weighing 30 tons. There is a 99% chance of seeing them. Watching humpback whales can be emotionally overwhelming. It’s all very thrilling: their jumps, their tails, the games the calves play under mother’s watchful eye. They are one of nature’s wonders. To hear the fascinating song the whales sing, we will use a hydrophone that will record and broadcast their sounds live.
