Description

More about this activity...

What will you do?

Maras is much more than its famous salt mines. That is why I will invite you to meet and share experiences with local craftsmen and women. We will start by walking through the traditional streets of the town, I will tell you its history and we will have a chicha in a typical chichería of Maras. Then we will start the three workshops I have prepared for you. The first one is salt handicrafts, where with the help of a craftswoman you will shape your own salt block. Then we will do a corn pankas craft workshop, where we will make a keychain with ecological materials. And finally, the clay pottery workshop with mold technique, I invite you to get to know Maras like no one else ever did!
