More about this activity...
What will you do?
We will see the preparation of bread with sourdough in Kala Tanta, a bakery located in the district of Chucuito. Then we will go to El Colorado, a famous Chalaco restaurant, where its owner will prepare us swordfish medallions and snails in sweet and sour sauce, seasoned by a great conversation. We will continue to El Comedor, where we will taste a delicious minipan with pejerrey or huevera and drink chicha morada or coffee, depending on your preferences. Then, at the D7 bar we will try a leche de tigre chalaco or a blue fruit chilcano. And for dessert, you can enjoy a delicious picarón. In addition, we will give you a gastronomic passport so you can continue exploring the delights that Callao has to offer.

Learn about host El Patronato por la Cocina del Callao
Hello! We are El Patronato por la Cocina del Callao, a non-profit civil institution formed by gastronomic entrepreneurs and cultural promoters of the first port. Peruvian cuisine owes much to the port of Callao, where Spaniards, Arabs, Africans, Greeks, Italians, Chinese and Japanese fused their customs with those of the local population, giving us a first class cuisine.
