More about this activity...
What will you do?
Do you want to taste the typical picnic of Yucay, to know a stretch of the Inca trail, to learn the history of this corner of Cusco? We start with a walk to the Temple of Santiago Apostle of Yucay, we will visit the Sayri Tupac Palace and the Hatun Ñam (pre-incan highway) and finally reach Unraqiy (where farmers channelled the water flow), at the foot of the pre-Inca burial center T’oqochayoq. Then we will have a mid morning picnic and I will teach you how to make your own uchucuta chili, one of the most famous in Peru.
