Learn about host Zach

Originally from Chicago, I’ve long been captivated by the natural world. Indigenous wisdom keepers have taught me to trust in intuition. Reverence for nature has led me to avant-garde art and years living in California’s forests. Since moving to Peru in 2022, I’ve connected to its ecological wonders and vibrant culture. Apprenticing under a revered medicine man in the Sacred Valley, I’ve become eager to share newfound wisdom. I am trained in Permaculture Design and count myself an earth steward, folk herbalist, gardener, farmer, musician, artist, cook, and yogi with experience in high-end cooking, organic farming and studio recording. As a certified yoga teacher, I find solace in meditation, exploring nature with my canine companions, sharing stories, and embracing the magic that surrounds us!

my experience with the Cacao Ceremony I honestly did not know what to expect as I had never heard of this Ceremony before. But still I was excited to experience it all the same. I was pleasantly met with a warm welcome and a thorough break down of the Cacao process. The process was equally calming and interesting as it was very informative. I’m grateful having experienced this practice and shall continue to explore its spiritual subtleties in hopes to expand more into the benefits of this unique practice.
