What will you do?

We will walk the traditional district of Miraflores through the life and work of Mario Vargas Llosa, Nobel Prize for Literature 2010, emblematic Peruvian author who has lived in this district and has been inspired by his experiences and streets to create fictions such as The City and the Dogs, The Puppies, Conversation in the Cathedral, among others. This is also a journey through the Miraflores of the 20th century and its evolution through the decades.

Hello, my name is Luis and I am passionate about Peruvian literature of the 20th century. I am the author of the books Mario Vargas Llosa for young people and Causas y Azares: a hundred anecdotes of Peruvian characters of the twentieth century. I have developed literary routes dedicated to Mario Vargas Llosa, Julio Ramón Ribeyro, José María Arguedas, among others. I am also producer and host of Malambo a program dedicated to Afro-Peruvian culture in Radio Filarmonía.
