More about this activity...
What will you do?
You will meet Isidro and Marquerit, owners of a traditional farm where they grow sugar, fruits and medicinal plants, in addition to producing their delicious aguardiente. From the Lamas square we will go to their farm. We will taste different fruits, refresh ourselves with a delicious coconut water and visit their sugar cane fields where we will cut the cane and, with the traditional mechanism of the trapiche, extract its juice. You will learn about maceration and how it becomes aguardiente as we work together. Afterwards, we will visit El Abuelo Felipe restaurant where we will enjoy a lunch of typical jungle food. Then we will meet an expert in exotic drinks who will tell us the story behind each of the liquors he prepares, and finish with a tasting of the different drinks.
