What will you do?
In this experience you will learn about the pre-Hispanic past of Magdalena and Pueblo Libre, its function as a gathering place for Indians during the Spanish colony and its role in the independence process. The tour begins in Magdalena la Vieja, where we will learn about its history and tradition. I will tell you the history of the parish of Santa María Magdalena, founded more than 400 years ago. Then we will go to the Quinta de los Libertadores, a colonial hacienda house where the independence generals José de San Martín and Simón Bolívar lived. We will finish the tour at the Antigua Taberna Queirolo in Pueblo Libre, an emblematic place of Peruvian pisco and traditional Lima gastronomy.
